“Mark, your performance exceeded every expectation. The videos don’t hold a candle to the awesome experience of your live show. MUST be seen in person to be believed… Thanks so much for coming to the show!”

“Mark Mosher is the only musician who I have ever used the words “choreographer” and “juggler” to describe his live performance style. His mastery of unusual music technology such as AudioCubes and the Tenori-on is not just a visual gimmick; it is exciting to listen to as well. In some ways, his crisp compositions will take you back to the 1980s — he MUST be a fan of Gary Numan in particular — but in other ways his songs act as the perfect sci-fi soundtrack for our 21st-century dreams. Listening to Mark explain how he uses his musical toys, and then hearing him play them, is an inspiring experience for musicians and non musicians alike.”

“Mark’s music is so innovative – simultaneously thought-provoking, intelligent, creative, yet surprisingly soothing and relaxing. One could hardly envision a more wonderful application of electronic technology.”
- Elzbieta Nolan (Arts Commissioner, Boulder, Colorado)

“Mark Mosher was a valuable and enthusiastic participant at electro-music 2010. He presented a seminar on using Ableton Live, and gave a unique and interesting musical performance which was very well received. During his performance he explained the technology he was using. We look forward to seeing him at future events!”

“Mosher is using three-dimensional space and his own proximity to affect what the audience hears and sees. Mosher’s music is both a personal exploration and a testament to the possibilities of technology.”
- Marc Wei (Lead organizer of The Ableton Denver User Group, Colorado)

“The visual instruments to which Mosher is most attuned these days, and the ones with which he is becoming identified world-wide are the Percussa AudioCubes. Each cube is, like the Theremin, a spatial interface. The difference is that every cube is also an autonomous computer. Each cube face has a sensor that can detect the proximity of hands and fingers and it can also detect the position and presence of another cube.”

“What happens when the grid supporting live musical performance disappears from both standard musical instruments and paper notation? Mosher positions that grid in the space between experimental human-computer interface devices and sampled sounds. Mosher doesn’t use this as a gimmick, but rather his basic generative principle, and the surprising (to me, anyway) thing about the music is how easily listenable it is, given the fundamental invention inherent in his approach.”
