BIO

I'm a part-time professional electronic musician, composer and sound designer living in Louisville Colorado just outside of Boulder.

I've been working professionaly with MIDI, synthesizers, sequencing, sampling for over 20 years. I’m an expert at hardware/virtual synthesizer programming, drum programming, sequencing, and producing with Ableton Live and Korg Workstations.

I am a BMI recording artist and compose electronica, and experimental music which I distribute via the internet on the internet. On October 28, 2009 I released the album REBOOT which is distributed digitally and is available as an immediate download viaBandcamp at www.rebootalbum.com. The album is currently being offered using the "pay what you will" model. Although the suggested pricing is $6 for the 7 song album + digital booklet and $1 for singles, users can name their own price including specifying 0$ for free downloads. There are future plans to make the album available on iTunes and Amazon's MP3 store. Two of my singles "Midnight" and "Stealth" went to 1 on the soundclick electronica charts and my third single "They Walk Among Us" was in the top 10.

For over 4 years I've been posting free original articles, videos, and digital downloads on electronic musicproduction and sound design on a ModulateThis.com. Modulate This is also a vehicle for me to give back to the electronic music communit and meet other artists and developers who share the passion of electronic music.

I performed as a vocalist and keyboard player with the award winning Head Full of Zombies from 1989 to 2003.

As a composer, producer, sound designer I have contributed music and sound to soundtracks for film, advertising, new media, live theater, and attractions. You can hear sample of his soundtrack work on www.markmoshermusic.com/soundtracks.htm. My song "Flight" appears as a special feature on the DVD for the film One Six Right.

STUDIO

In 2002, I made the leap to software-based production. Thanks to advances in computing technology, I'm now 100% laptop based. You can see pictures of my studio and gear here.
