Thanks for Your Support of My Music in 2010

For my artistic work, 2010 was my best year ever! Releasing my second album I Hear Your Signals, performing live, performing at and joining the Electro-Music community, being involved with Ableton Denver, inspiring others via Modulate This, getting to know fellow bloggers better, releasing sound libraries, discovering new music from fellow artists, and meeting many of you face-to-face were clear highlights. Thanks to all of you for your encouragement, support, insight and friendship.

I think I did a pretty good job documenting news as I went along this year so read-backward through this news blog if you’d like to take a trip back in time.

Buzz: My Song "Stealth" Selected as Theme Song for Jonja.net Science Fiction, Fantasy, Horror Podcast - Checkout Nichelle Nichols Promo Transitioning to My Song

I found out some weeks back that my song “Stealth” from the album REBOOT was selected for the theme song for the Science Fiction, Fantasy, Horror Podcast Jonja.net. I’m really excited about this because as you know, REBOOT and I HEAR YOUR SIGNALS have a science fiction back-story so it’s quite cool to have one of my songs associated with this community!

Jonja.net started off as a forum and this year they added the podcast component. The podcast is in panel format and offers discussion and interviews and is great fun. They also have specials from time-to-time on shows like The Walking Dead.

My song appears at the beginning and end of each show. I really like the opening of the September 26th Episode (download mp3) because you hear Nichelle Nichols do a promo for Jonja.net followed by my song – woot!

And on the December 20th episode (download mp3), the promo is by Anne Lockhart (who was of course Sheba in the original Battlesar Galactica).

Buzz: My Song “Control Zone” on 11/28/2010 Episode of The Spellbound Theremin Radio Show/Podcast

My song “Control Zone” appeared in the new music block of the 11/28/2010 episode of Spellbound, A Brief Program of Music for Theremin. It appears at the 11:30 mark of the first hour of the show. I get a mention at 25:42.

Back on November 7th 2010 there was a profile piece on my musical work in the Boulder Daily Camera (see post on this here). I was looking through my iPhone pics and found this shot I took of the paper in the box as I was walking down per street mall and thought it was fun. If you look in the top right of the masthead you can see some AudioCubes and a Tenori-On :^).
